Today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette had an article called "Monkeying around with the @ symbol", which was a copy of last Sunday's column by Nancy Szokan of the Washington Post, entitled "
Where It's At -- and Where It's Not."
The column is about all the different names used to describe the @ symbol in internet culture around the world.
It's fun and useful because it opens up a whole universe of ways to post one's email address online and thwart those robots harvesting email addresses for purposes of spamming.

Updated 8-12-2011 with new email address, but no change to the advice.
