Today's Valley News Dispatch has a good story on the completion of the first of three houses to be completed by Habitat for Humanity of Allegheny Valley in 2006.The house on McCargo Street in New Kensington was dedicated yesterday, and will be the home of Joyce Leonard and her family.
There was a great representation of local Lutherans present because of the significant role of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in building this house. The Dominion Foundation was also well-represented.
Now, on to houses 2 and 3.
