Following on the excitement in the Tarentum Borough Council meeting last night, which is also reported in the Valley News Dispatch in a fine article starting on page 3, the letter to the editor may seem anticlimactic.The writer from Harrison draws attention to the issue of equal rights for skateboarders when he points out that lots of towns already provide playgrounds for young people who want to engage in other sports, but the growing numbers who skateboard are often overlooked.
